A shot for the programming platform that is a main player for software prototyping, data science applications, and engineering problem solving.

Why Matlab? It’s a question that thousands of consumers have had before. So if this is you, then you are not alone.

Are you from a technology company? Well then you are not the only one who has thought about the engineering side of the coin.

Have you been discussing data processing over coffee with friends? Are you intrigued to learn more? Either way, read on.

Matlab is the matrix laboratory for all of your data processing needs.

Reason #1: Matlab is an interpreted (not compiled) programming language

I’ll preface this section and say that the choice you make between a compiled or interpreted language should in itself depend on the nature of the problem you are trying to solve.

For an on-the-job project say you are tasked to build a web application for developers. Now this is an application where a programming language like PHP or JavaScript will come in handy because they are made for designing websites. For this project scope, you would not use Matlab.
